Must the confirmation page contain specific information?
Yes. The confirmation page that appears after clicking the cancellation button must allow the consumer to specify the type of termination (ordinary or extraordinary) and the desired effective date, and it must contain information that allows the specific contract to be clearly identified. After completing the entry, there must be a final button that actually triggers the cancellation, as well as confirmation that the customer can save permanently, for example as an email or PDF with date and time. Since the Federal Court of Justice ruling of 16 July 2026, additionally: the page must serve only the purpose of cancellation. Discount offers, alternative suggestions or other advertising are not permitted there.
