What does Lucid-ID registration and system participation cost?

Registration in the LUCID register itself is free — you pay ZSVR nothing for registration. Costs arise through system participation. Germany's dual system requires you to work with an approved service provider (DSD). These service providers charge fees per kilogramme of packaging material you put on the market. Costs vary by material type: plastic costs differently than glass or paper. For a small business with moderate volume these annual fees typically fall in the three-digit to four-digit euro range. As volume grows costs rise accordingly. This is an ongoing cost you must factor into your pricing.
