How high can anti-dumping duties in the EU be?

The level of an anti-dumping duty depends on how much the export price of a product deviates from the determined normal value and how much this difference harms producers in the EU. There is no uniform rate – the range goes from a few percentage points to values that can completely upset a calculation. A current example: imports of pea protein originating from the People's Republic of China can be subject to a provisional anti-dumping duty of up to 67.4 percent. Such rates show why it is worth using the Conformis-Pflichtencheck before concluding a purchase rather than after the product is already on the way.
